BEATS is a specialized early detection and intervention service for young people between 16 and 35 years of age. We provide

• individual psychosis risk assessment when increased risk is suspected
• a detailed psychiatric evaluation including comorbidity assessment, differential diagnosis for somatic disorders and neuropsychological evaluation 
• regular follow-up assessments for people at increased risk for psychosis with use of standardized instruments 
• an integrated, multiprofessional treatment programme for young people in the early stages of psychotic disorders. 

Our services can be made use of parallel to ongoing external psychiatric or psychotherapeutic treatment. For example, patients can participate in our group therapies parallel to external individual treatment. Costs are covered by insurance companies when there is no treatment overlap.
